Hey, it’s Emily here. I’m sharing a free Bubble Valentine printable for an easy DIY valentine gift and some of my favorite non-candy valentine ideas for girls.
Like Lacey, I have three boys. However, I also have one girl. She’s my best little friend and because we are so outnumbered we have to stick together in this house full of testosterone.
I don’t know about you, but I almost always prefer my kids to get non-candy valentines just because I don’t want the sugar and candy in my house. Each year it feels like we are barely finishing off our Halloween candy stash and then it’s Valentine’s day, followed by Easter. SO MUCH CANDY. So I try to give non-candy valentines when possible. But of course, you still want them to be cute and pretty. This list of non-candy valentine ideas for girls is “Bailey approved”!
But first, I wanted to share the printable I made for my daughter’s valentines this year. She loves bubbles and immediately fell in love with the idea of giving bubbles to her friends for Valentine’s day. So I designed this printable and we tied some bubbles to each card. I found these bubbles at Wal-Mart. There are 12 bubble sticks to a package and each package was $1.98. Super cheap and they are so cute. I love the little heart handle on the wand.
You can download the printable below.

And if those aren’t your style, here are 5 of my favorite non-candy Valentine ideas that are super simple and sure to please!
We made these “You’re a Gem” ring valentines a couple of years ago and my daughter loved giving them out. She loves all types of jewelry so these were a huge hit with her. How great is this printable from The Surburban Mom.
Another idea that I love are these “Heart Stamper Valentines” from I Heart Crafty Things. I don’t know about your kids, but mine love stamps. Honestly, they love all craft supplies but stamps are pretty high on their favorites list.
My daughter is obsessed with chapstick and lipgloss. She’s only six but she steals mine all the time and it cracks me up. So these valentine’s speak to her in a big way. Check out these “You’re the Balm” chapstick valentines from Paper Trail Designs
Who remembers slap bracelets from your childhood. I love that these have made such a comeback. And how great are these printables? I think these “Slap Bracelet Valentiens” from “What Moms Love” are so great.
Well? What do you think? Did anything strike your fancy?
Valentine’s day is getting closer each day so I hope these ideas helped alleviate a little stress!
